Welcome
Blackhill Engineering Services Ltd. has existed in various forms since the 1950`s; originally its main role was to provide an engineering centre for English China Clays (Quarries Division), which looked after capital and revenue repairs, modifications, projects and servicing, for sites all over the UK and channel islands.
Early in 1995 the company became privately owned, which lead to the range of work becomming considerably more diverse. With this diversification came projects from many countries which lead to manufactured products being exported to many parts of the world.
Our machining, fabrication and design facilities are comparable with those usually found in much larger organisations. We can provide a wide variety of engineering services to suit the needs of most companies, from individual parts or equipment to production runs of many different types of mechanical components, fabrications, refurbishments, modifications and parts repair.
The company operates from a unique 2-acre site with 28,000 sq. ft. of workshop space, only 10 minutes from the M5 Motorway, Junction 30 near Exeter, and 15 minutes from Exeter Airport
